Dr. Scarpetta is involved in a murder of her friend Ted Eddings. She believes he didn't just drown, which is what most people thought. She thinks he was murdered and poisned. I like that the book was a good page-turner, but I did not like how it ended so short. It seemed as if it wasn't finished.

This is a really well-written book. You've probably ready 2 billion reviews about it, not to mention having read it yourself, but I read it for the first time. Bear with me.

First, only remember Gandalf and Bilbo Baggins. The dwarves are mysteriosly numerous - there's like, 14, no lie. Also, it takes a LOT of determination to finish. But, it's still a good book, and you're glad you read it. Then you learn there's another 3.

Emma (by Jane Austen)

Emma is the story of a spirited but spoiled young lady who learns maturity through her mistakes and the guidance of her friend, Mr. Knightly. Emma Woodhouse believes herself to be an expert matchmaker, but is she as immune to love as she thinks? I really enjoyed reading this book as it is warm and at times, humerous. The characters are memorable and the plot of the story leaves you statisfied. It was not a book that I could "devour" as the reading was a little slow, but it was the perfect curl-up-with-hot-chocolate-rainy-day book.

Ellysetta and Rain have to find allies for the upcoming battles. Will they be able to get the Elves to come? This book was very, very god. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

This book is great and really makes the reader think. As a girl the book makes me wonder why I do the things I do. The author explains the ways of feminism, commercialism, and sexualism. The insight the author has is wonderful. She uses statistics to help back up her experiences of raising her daughter. I like that she adds in personal touches to make it easier to relate and understand. Overall it was an enlightening book.

Danger in the Shadows (by Dee Henderson)

This book was a mystery. That's a reason why I loved it so much! This book kept me at the edge of my seat for quite a while. Sara is a very mysterious character because something happened to her and you learn more and more about what that was as you move on with the book. Adam (a famous football player) comes in and he has to go through lots of twists and turns just to see Sara again. I would recommend this book to someone who likes to read because it's 373 pages. :) But also to someone who enjoys a good suspensful book.

I thought this book was a very good book. It is about a fourteen year old girl who seeks revenge for her father's killer in the wild west during the 1800s. This book is for guys and girls too. I liked this book because of how easy it is to understand and because of its suspense. I recommend this book to anyone who likes action and drama.

"The Outstretched Shadow" is a great fantasy book. It is a book with good morals and virtues. It is a more adult book, however, as it lightly hints at adult things. In all other ways it is a great book and a must read for all fantasy lovers.
