Anne of Green Gables is the story of an orphan girl, Anne, who comes to live with Marilla and Mathew Cuthbert. Anne has a very wild imagination and quick changing temper, making the story a marvelous read. The descriptions of each location are very vivid, letting you feel as though you've visited the same area. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books that transport you to another time and let you experience a different way of living.
