Retirement
The Library District and its employees participate in the Missouri Local Government Retirement System (LAGERS). It is mandatory that all employees participate who meet the minimum hourly requirements (1,500 working hours in a 12-month period) as specified by the Retirement System.
The Library District will make contributions at a rate set forth by LAGERS for each eligible employee who has completed six months of continual employment.
The Library District may extend, at a cost to the employee, health and dental coverage as a retirement benefit to employees who are considered "retired" by the LAGERS definition.
