Provisional Status
(Promotional Appointments)
All promotional appointments given employees shall be provisional pending successful completion of a six month working test period. Written evaluations and conferences with the employee’s immediate supervisor shall be given at eight (8) weeks and at six (6) months after promotion.
If the employee is unable to perform satisfactorily in the new position, he/she will be demoted to his/her former level, if that position or a similar position is available.
