Descriptions and salary track placement


The Library District groups budgeted positions into a salary schedule made up of 14 salary tracks (A-N).   Within each track are six levels reflecting entry to maximum salary range for that particular track.   Budgeted positions are grouped together on a salary track based on the level of responsibility and required education and experience.   Library Pages are considered Non-Track and at this time are set apart from tracks A-N.   

The Board of Trustees shall approve the addition or removal of a position to a salary track.  Job descriptions are available for all positions.    Updates to existing job descriptions that do not require a change in salary track shall be approved by the Director.  The Board of Trustees will be informed of updates to existing job descriptions in the Director’s monthly report.  Job descriptions will be listed on the Library’s website.
