The Program

This book is definitely for those over 13. But, there is a big love triangle, struggle for all of those admitted into the Program. They strip people of their most precious memories and only let them keep those necessary.

Second Chance Summer

The Edwards family has never been really close; everyone always seems to have their own separate things to do. Taylor’s younger sister, Gelsey, has ballet, Taylor’s older brother, Warren, has scholarly activities, and Taylor has an annoying knack for running away when things get tough. But that changes when Taylor’s dad receives tragic news about his health. The family packs up the car and heads to their old lake house for the summer. They have not been there in five years, having been too preoccupied—unintentionally or not—to return the past five summers.

Of Poseidon

Emma thought that she was just a normal teenager until she met Galen. Galen is a Syrena, or a mermaid, as the humans call them. He is convinced that Emma is a Galen, even if she doesn't believe it herself! This book is fun, dramatic, and action-packed. The characters are so real, believable, and lovable. I highly recommend this book to anyone who can read! :)

Second Chance Summer

Taylor Edwards is known for running away when things get hard. Her first thought when she finds out her dad is struggling with cancer is get away. This time, however, running away will not make it go away. If only for her father, Taylor agrees to go back to the family’s old lake house for her father's last summer, not knowing she will also be confronting the past she abruptly left five years ago. These new cramped living quarters force Taylor to quit ignoring her two exceptional siblings.

Beautiful Creatures

Beautiful Creatures is a very good book. It is the kind of book where you're anxious for the end, but enjoy the whole thing. Lena is new in town and is staying with her Uncle Macon, the town shut-in. Lena and her boyfriend, Ethan, have been sharing the same dream before they even met for months. They also can talk to each other, in their minds. Ethan soon finds out that Lena is a Caster, technically another word for witch, wizard, sorcerer, sorceress. On Lena's 16th birthday, she will find out if she's Dark or Light, bad or good.

Carrie Pilby

Carrie Pilby is a 19 year old prodigy that has just graduated from Harvard University. However, Carrie’s intelligence does not reflect her social skills at all. Carrie has never fit in with other kids and now she is a stuck up thoughtful girl that questions everything; she is not outgoing and thinks that the best world is the one that let’s her be in bed (her dad pays for her apartment). That is, until she opens up to her therapist (whom she doesn’t really like at first but her dad is paying so, why not go and see him?).

Danger in the Shadows

This book was a mystery. That's a reason why I loved it so much! This book kept me at the edge of my seat for quite a while. Sara is a very mysterious character because something happened to her and you learn more and more about what that was as you move on with the book. Adam (a famous football player) comes in and he has to go through lots of twists and turns just to see Sara again. I would recommend this book to someone who likes to read because it's 373 pages. :) But also to someone who enjoys a good suspensful book.
