The book, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, tells a story about Henry Lee and his life before and during the Japanese "evacuation", and also as an older man with his own son.  Henry undergoes great hardship when his best friend, Keiko is taken away, but he later finds the treasure they once cherished together in the once abandoned Panama Hotel, through the powers of friendship and forgiveness.  This book tells an amazing , heartwarming story.  I really liked this book!  And I would highly recommend it!
