Pirates!

I liked this book because it's full of adventure and I couldn't put it down towards the end.  I like the main characters personality and how she took to being a pirate.  I also liked how her friend Minerva was so fearless adn how she fit in with the crew.  I would recommend this book to older kids because it's hard to understand the way the characters speak, but overall I loved it.

The Throne of Fire

Carter and SAdie try to find the lost god Ra.  Along the way they face many challenges and some are from the House of Libe.  This book has action and Egyptian mythology.  It is a very good book.

Max

I would recommend this book.  I really enjoyed this book because it really speaks to you.  What I mean by that is you can relate to the characters.  I related to the characters becasue of how some of them felt.  I related to max because of her mom.  But thats all I can tell you.

Theodosia and the Last Pharaoh

Theodosia is returning to Egypt to return pesious artafacts but inside she find the serpans of coos.  The book is about how she overcomes them and finds a new treasure.  I would recommend this to any lover of Egypt and magic.  It had so many twists and turns.  I loved it and the rest of the books in the series.

The Hobbit

The Hobbit, written by J.R.R. Tolkien, is the prequel to the Lord of the Rings.  It is about a hobbit, imagine that, named Bilbo Baggins, a wizard, and thirteen dwarfs.  The purpose of this group is to go on a expeditioin to recover the golf that used to belong to the dwarfs and is now guarded by a dragon.  In this book you are also introduced to the one ring from Lord of the Rings.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The favorite place of Harry Potter is no longer safe.  His friends are in grave peril.  And his mentor is dead.  Now of age, 17 year old, Harry Potter is seeing his darkest days as his enemy, Lord Voldemort is gaining power.  This final and most suspenseful Harry Potter book is in my opinion, the best.  With lack of a pattern as exists in the previous six, this book explores, death, bravery, and love.  Can Harry, only just a man, defeat this most powerful dark wizard of all time?  Or will he die along sid ehis friends in the quest for conquering evil?&nbsp

Tron

Sam's father, Kevin Flynn works for Encom & has developed a new program you can enter.  After he disappears Sam discovers his secret lab and enters the Grid, which is his fathers world.  He soon finds out that it is rules by a evil program called Clu, and must save 2 worlds.  I can relate to Sam because he is willing to do what he must to make things right.  I highly recommend this book.

The Scarlet Pimpernel

Baroness Orczy's "The Scarlet Pimpernel" is set during the French Revolution when hundreds of innocent people are becomign victims to Madame la Guillotine.  But one man, under the mysterious name of the Scarlet Pimpernel works to rescue aristocrats from this gruesome death.  However, every hero needs a needs a nemesis and the Scarlet Pimpernel has one named Chauvelin, a ruthless patriot who is intent on sending the meddling Englishman to the guillotine.  I would definitely recommend this book -- it is intense and fast paced.  Orczy's writing is full of

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

There is no surprise when I say this book was another phenomenal addition to the Harry Potter series.  J.K.

Tiger's Curse

I absoutelyl LOVED it!  The book had adventure, mystery, and romance.  All things i want in a book.  Kelsey, the main character, was strong and confident, but yet had a vulnerable side to her.  And the book is even more coller because she travels to India, with a tiger named Ren.  I honestly woudl recommend this to everyone.  It is a great book.  And I bet Twilight fans would LOVE it.  It is now my favorite book of all time.
