Questions Web Resources Books

A business plan is an important tool for all business owners. The business plan provides new business owners with a framework for the business to get started and helps established business owners achieve organizational goals. The quality of the business plan will determine whether or not they will be eligible for funding from prospective financial lenders. Preparation and research are essential components to producing a good business plan.

 Questions

Before writing your business plan, the United States Small Business Administration advises consideration of the  following core questions:

  1. What service or product does your business provide and what needs does it fill?

  2. Who are the potential customers for your product or service and why will they purchase it from you?

  3. How will you reach your potential customers?

  4. Where will you get the financial resources to start your business?
